THE SOFTWARE EXISTS. YOUR CONFIGURATION COMES NEXT.↓

A foundation to build on

Keep the work
that makes you a fleet.

Your team knows the drivers, the trucks and the day-to-day decisions. ELD Factory provides the shared technical platform, so your project starts with a foundation already in place.

01

Your administration

Set up company details, people and equipment in your workspace. Give your team responsibility for the operation and supported record workflows.

02

Shared software maintenance

License access to a hosted platform maintained across customers. ELD Factory hosts the software; your subscription does not transfer the software or its source code to you.

03

A path to your configuration

Plan the hardware, driver app and provider details together. ELD Factory helps with registration preparation and the work needed to bring the complete configuration to launch.

BEFORE YOU LAUNCH

Company setup and the administrative workspace exist today. Operational ELD recording, customer-domain routing and public app-store releases remain in development. This is a platform planning offer, not an operational ELD download.

Choose where your effort goes

Start with software.
Focus on your operation.

Both approaches require a responsible launch. The difference is who builds and maintains the underlying system.

Building from scratch

Own the development project.

  1. Design the backend and data model
  2. Develop driver and administration apps
  3. Integrate and validate the hardware
  4. Maintain releases and technical infrastructure

A fit when a dedicated software program is central to your business.

Working with ELD Factory

Start with a shared foundation.

  1. Choose your app and hardware configuration
  2. Prepare your company domain and operating responsibilities
  3. Prepare testing and provider registration
  4. Run your fleet on the hosted platform

You manage your operation. ELD Factory maintains the platform.

You receive licensed access to ELD Factory’s hosted backend, not software ownership or source-code rights. The complete ELD configuration still requires testing.

Put numbers to the plan

One foundation.
Clear starting costs.

Compare the published plans for your fleet size. The per-asset price includes the hardware lease, hosted backend, ELD service and shared apps when released.

Monthly service$475

Required for every plan: a domain or subdomain your company controls for the operational portal, such as eld.yourcompany.com. Domain routing is an onboarding requirement and is not implemented yet. Every plan adds $100 setup per asset. The $30,000 Branded fee replaces the $2,500 Launch setup fee. This calculator is a planning illustration, not an order; confirm scope, taxes and charges in your agreement. No payment is collected here.

A clear division of work

Your people.
Your decisions.
Our technology.

YOUR TEAM

Drivers and daily operations

You provide driver support, manage permitted logbook edits and keep responsibility for your carrier and provider obligations.

ELD FACTORY

Platform and technical faults

The software and hardware partner handles platform technical issues and the published leased-device warranty. It does not edit your drivers’ logs for you.

THE LAUNCH PROCESS

Test, then self-certify

FMCSA’s provider process calls for testing before self-certification and registration. Registration assistance is not agency product approval.

Before you choose

The useful questions.

Does the software already exist?

Yes. The company setup and administrative workspace are built. Operational ELD recording, customer-domain routing and public driver-app releases remain in development. ELD Factory is the place to discuss your launch configuration.

Do I need a custom app?

Not for the shared-app approach. Launch includes the planned shared iOS and Android apps. Choose Branded when your own app identity and store presence justify the custom development work. Compare the app approaches.

Does the device have cellular?

No. The hardware has CAN bus 1, CAN bus 2 and built-in GPS. A connected phone or tablet relays its data. Vehicle and application compatibility must be confirmed for your configuration.

Who operates this website?

ELD Software and ELD Factory are operated by General Software Company LLC. This website explains our own platform approach. It is not a directory of unrelated ELD providers.

Where will our team access the portal?

Your operational portal requires a domain or subdomain your company controls. ELD Factory’s main-site account is reserved for billing, not operational records. Customer-domain routing and billing access are not implemented yet.

Who owns and hosts the software?

ELD Factory hosts the backend. Your company receives access under a license; you do not acquire ownership of the software or rights to its source code. Your commercial agreement defines access, scope and responsibilities.
